Wayne Home and Design Co
Brandon Schueler is the owner of Wayne Home and Design Co., which he opened after more than a decade of success in real estate—a career he continues to this day. With 12 years of experience helping clients find their dream homes,
Brandon now channels that same passion into helping customers discover unique furniture and décor pieces to complete their vision. He enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling to warm destinations, and sharing life’s adventures with his fiancé, Michael, and their three beloved dogs—Bentley, Riley, and Arnie. Christmas is his favorite holiday, and his love for the season shows in the warmth and joy he brings to his store.
For Brandon, the most rewarding part of owning Wayne Home and Design is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with customers and helping them make their house a home they truly love. His goal is to make every visit feel personal, welcoming, and inspiring.
Chesni McClain
Design Associate and Store Manager
As a Design Associate of Wayne Home + Design Co since 2024, Chesni loves being able to help people see the potential of their homes and connecting with them on a personal level through one-on-one design assistance.
She has 5+ years of experience with helping others create their dream space, and received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a special focus in Residential Design from Indiana University in 2021. Interior Design has been the foundation of Chesni’s artistic pursuits, career and lifestyle since. As a Design Associate, she also works on the “behind-the-scenes” side of Interior Design; curating home furnishing selections for clients, social media marketing, admin work for the store as well as assisting in hand-selecting decor & furniture for the store.
In Chesni’s spare time, she enjoys reading and being outside exploring trails with her husband, Mitchell. She spends time doing pen + ink drawings of homes for commission, hanging out with her two cats, Milk and Nutmeg, and going to local coffee shops with friends.
Grace Hess
Hospitality Associate
As a Hospitality Associate at Wayne Home + Design Co., Grace loves creating a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through the doors. She especially enjoys helping clients bring their ideas to life, discovering their personal style, and watching their vision come together.
Grace is currently entering her senior year at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. As she approaches graduation, she is excited to continue growing her design experience and hopes to explore the commercial design world, with a particular interest in healthcare spaces.
Through her experience at Wayne Home + Design Co., Grace has enjoyed learning more about the residential side of the design industry, from working directly with customers and helping them make confident selections to bring into their homes. She loves that interior design allows her to combine creativity with problem-solving while also creating meaningful connections with people.
Outside of school and work, Grace enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, trying new coffee shops, and hanging out with her cat, Boo. She is always looking for new ways to grow as a designer and is excited to see where her passion for interior design takes her after graduation.
Mitchell McClain
Backroom & Hospitality Associate
Mitchell McClain is a backroom & hospitality associate of Wayne Home & Design Co. He comes from a history of retail work and management specializing in logistics, fulfillment, asset protection, customer service, general and visual merchandising. Mitchell is also a full time artist and small business owner, giving him a creative outlook on problem solving and a drive for client satisfaction.
Mitchell lives with his wife Chesni and two cats named Nutmeg and Milk. In his free time he enjoys boardgames with friends, hiking, and spending time with his wife.
Annie Madden
Hospitality Associate
As a hospitality associate of Wayne Home + Design Co., Annie loves helping clients find unique pieces that make their homes feel like them! Those little pieces that help turn your room into a space you will look forward to being in, are her favorite to source.
She has been working in the interior design space since 2023 and recently graduated from Saint Mary’s College with a degree in Communications. As a hospitality associate, she is there to help anyone who walks through the door. Whether you come in knowing exactly what you want, or have no idea, she’s your girl!
In her spare time you can find her out thrifting with her friends, or at home with her family and two dogs, Barbara and Boyd!
